A lovely light dish, you can change the plaice for any other white fish if you wanted too, but it works really well with this lovely and relatively cheap fish.
I have been wanting to do a rustic and yummy dish like this for ages, and I love aubergine and also the thick tomato sauce it makes.

These are so good, this recipe is for a canape, but you can easily change it to make a gorgeous starter – just use 3 whole scallops and make more of the mixture.
I like to serve these as a canape, but in all honesty you could load them up on a plate, put a little dressed salad garnish on and it’s a great starter.
A very yummy, light and simple to make pudding which can be enjoyed after lunch, Dinner or even as an afternoon treat.
